Unfortunately most of the psychiatric medications and neurological medications have a side effect of weight gain. This being said, it does not mean that they will cause YOU to gain weight. Some people do gain weight and others do not. It varies greatly from one person to another just like most side effects.

Tegretol did for me. I used to take it when I had seizures and it made me gain 10 pounds. When I got off it I lost it all again. I don't know about the others.
I dunno the others but risperdal it makes wanna eat n make u sleepy
