Having Bad anxiety to where its all I think about,I have been on xanax for years,Dr. put me on Zoloft?
Question:
Answers:
get a new dr. Zoloft is a wird drug...some people love it and others like me had terrible side effects from it. I believe neck pain in one of those less common side effects...Talk to another dr...
1. Watch the Xanax -- is highly addictive (that might explain the burning feelings in your arms, and the neck aches.)
2. You will feel more anxiety right after you stop the Xanax -- again -- the addiction factor.
3. Zoloft rocks -- but you have to use it for about 3 weeks to get the full effect -- and even then, your Dr might have to up your dosage. (I only changed cuz my insurance wouldn't cover Zoloft -- too popular a drug -- I'm on Effexor and Lexapro -- Lexapro is good.)
4. Doctor is a jerk???? that leads to another question......does him being a jerk have anything to do w/disagreement about the xanax? if so -- that's addiction talking, honey. If not -- dump his ***! Get your records, and bring them to another doctor! There are plenty of them out there.
Try a natural cure.
1. Cut out all caffiene!!!
2. Meditate
3. Exercise
4. Eat healthier!!!
5. Get 20 minutes of shunshine daily
6. Take fish oil but not more then 3 grams a day
7. Take a B complex
8. Drink More water
9. Don't eat sugar or anything with sugar in it
10. Eliminate food allergens

Get a new docotr. I liked Zoloft, but I took it for depression. Find a hobby maybe that will help you. Try sewing or knitting or something hands on.
