Where is the best site for researching autism that you have found ?
Question:
Answers:
Hello. I have two younger brothers who are autistic (They are eight). Autism really varies from person to person. One of my brother needs to be holding a folded piece of cardboard at all times in order for him to focus on anything. I also know of a woman who has to be holding a plastic spoon. They are also very sensitive to texture and tastes. I can't recommend any websites, but if you head to your local library, these books a certainly must-haves :
a) Autism Spectrum Disorder: Understanding the Diagnosis and Getting Help
b)Autism Spectrum Disorders: The Complete Guide to Understanding Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Other ASDs
