dealing with anger in drug and alchol recovery?

My and my husband are having a hard time,and I have alot of anger,He thinks since I am clean,I should be fine,and I am not

I was a meth user for almost 15 yrs(I'm only 32 now) when I cleaned up a few yrs ago I also was very angry at every thing around me just because I was missing something my body thought it needed to survive.It would be nice if he could support you during your time but if he doesn't its really no big deal because you shouldn't be doing this for him you are doing this for you.If he cares and loves you he will understand.

The best solution is to drag him along with you to your therapy sessions. Let him know that he and you are as one. Tell him the truth, that you are not fine, that through counseling and working together, the problems can be healed, but he must want to help. Plan on a day that he'll be off. Seems as though you both should go through together. It takes one to know one. Trying to talk to him may prove useless, especially if he chooses not to listen to you. But to hear a counselor may help.
