Any non-prescription ADHD "cures"?

Question:
Like chicken noodle soup when you have a cold. Is there any home remedies that might kill my hyperness?

As your reading this my feet are constantly bouncing up and down and I can help it... but it takes a ton of willpower. My attention span is probably less than that of a goldfish, and homework is the biggest pain in the world (unless I'm doing something im intrested like building something) and seems near impossible at times. I doubt there is anything that would help but Id like to hear from other people.

Answers:
Neurofeedback. Oh, and avoid fried food, sugar and soy. My son is ADHD, and doing these things has done wonders. As well as 4 1000 mg fish oil casules a day.

My son's grades went up when he started doing the neurofeedback.

Good luck.

I wish there was a remedy. I have A.D.H.D also ...
Avoid foods with preservatives they are the cause 90% of the time. Use foods like fresh vegatables and free range chickens for example. allways read the labels on packets while shopping and avoid them if they are packed with preservatives.I think you will be surprised at the results.
Well, I really would recommend to go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. OK, it costs you about 200 Dollars and you have to travel to California (or Europe) to have it done, but the effect on the self-healing power of your body and mind is simply amazing.

Have experienced it myself. :-)
like the others mentioned, eating or not eating various types of food or getting procedures but i think everyone differs. 4 of my nephews were all diagnosed with ADHD. They never took meds. they did well in school and eventually "outgrew" it. they were able to focus in and out of school and control their "outbursts".
There is a lady in Utah who takes care of a dozen of these kids.. she seems to maintain them very well, just by making sure they get no sugars. No mono or disaccharides.
