not at all its (this is only my opinion) is that shy ppl feel inadequate in some way and that the other ppl will see that in them and not like the person for that reason and then that fear consumes them but I'm no shrink thats just a guess

Not at all. shyness is an attribute and a quality personality trait. Being shy is far more favorable than loud, obnoxious, boisterous and overly extroverted. Yes being balanced might be considered "better"- but everyone is different- that's what makes the people of the world interesting. I'm referring to shyness, not withdrawal and isolation.
