I have some anger problems. I have the tendency to want to be physical about it. What can I do to help them?

Anger Management classes is a start. Think about what triggers your anger. When you figure that out, you will know how to calm yourself down before you explode.

You can be the most helpful to others just by finding out why you have such an insecurity complex. One that you have to find yourself reacting, whether it is intentionaly directed toward you or, even indirectly. There has to be some reason why you are so protective of yourself. To allow such reactions to occur. To help who? Anger is in response to some need that is not being met. See cnvc.org . It is caused NOT by what someone did or said, but by what you THINK ABOUT what someone did or said. If you think, "They should know better!" then you will be angry.
THERE ARE 2 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO.
1. YOU NEED TO FIND A GOOD THERAPIST (COUNSELOR) SO THAT YOU CAN GET TO THE ROOT OF WHAT IS CAUSING YOUR ANGER. YOU CAN NOT STOP OR CONTROL BEHAVIOR YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND,AND I DOUBT YOU WANT TO PASS ON THIS BEHAVIOR TO YOUR CHILDREN.
2. ASK ABOUT ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES AND SUPPORT GROUPS IN YOUR AREA AND THEN JOIN.
PLEASE KNOW THAT THERAPY CAN CAN BE DIFFICULT. BE BRUTALLY HONEST WITH YOUR THERAPIST AND YOURSELF AND YOU WILL START TO COPE AND HEAL. GOOD LUCK.
