Has a Dr. said you were Bi polar but you don't beleive it?

Question: I was told I was bi polar took many different medications that just turned me into a zombie. I stopped taking the medications but still fight my anxiety issues daily. I am just wondering how many people are told they are bi polar and really are not.

Again as an RN...I firmly believe this is an over used diagnosis!!!

Just as ADD, Dementia, and sooo many more!!!

As for the anxiety issue...Did ya' doc' give ya' an RX for that???
IE: A low dose tranquilizer???

Tranquilizers in low doze...Appropriate usage and, time...Can do wonders for anxiety...Be careful not to abuse, as "can" be addicting!!!
