The medication Concerta is typically used to treat ADD, ADHD and in rare cases Obesity.
It is the first and only one daily medication for ADD/ADHD that last for 12 hours. Generally takes about an hour to take affect and it takes awhile to get you really balanced. I am still adjusting to it.

I am on it and it has helped me be more focused. I get more done now because I can up with what I am doing...

It is not for everyone.


Essentially it is a labratory version of Meth/Speed. Ends up balancing your mind and body...

Concerta is a form of medication used to counter act ADHD symptoms. It was not effective for my daughter. It is a synthetic drug that should help with the nuerological functions in ADD individuals.
It helps a lot of people but my daughter got no relief from her symptoms when she was on it. IT did not however, cause her the major headaches the other ones did.

Methylphenidate is a mild stimulant to the central nervous system (brain and nerves). The exact way that methylphenidate works is unknown.
