What is degeneration of CEREBRUM ? Is it cureable anywhere ?

Question:
I don't know much about this but doc told us that it Is not cureable anywhere.

Answers:
Cerebrum is the biggest part of your brain, basicly what you see when you look at a usual picture about one. Degeneration could mean several things, I think it must refer to all the diseases in which the number of the cells in the brain decline, or for example multiple sclerosis, where the so-called myelin sheath that surrounds the axons(=the fibres of your brain that carry the signals) and facilitates signal transmission, deteriorates.

Curability... Since I'm not a doctor and I do not know what kind of degeneration it is, I can't tell you anythig specific. You probably heard about stem cells in some context, I think that several of these diseases might be cureable in the future by means of them. (Stem cells are undifferentiated cells, they can become any kind of body cell depending on where you put them. For example if you put them in the brain, in the cerebrum, they would produce brain cells as they divide. But as I recall, this is under research and is not in regular use yet.)

(A remark regarding stem cells. You probably know that their use and research is very controversial, but PLEASE read a lot about it and get to know the matter before you make a judgement. ( I would not be surprised if it would turn out that George W. Bush doesn't know enough about them, despite the fact that he used his veto in this matter... but I'd rather not judge him, since I don't know enough about him :-) ) )

Other Answers:
I doubt if it is curable. That would mean that your brain is breaking down or degenerating. Once brain tissue are gone, they are gone forever, I have heard any way. Like when you burn brain cells on drugs or whatever, you never get them back. This is my guess anyway.
I guess you are referring to the effect of degeneration. The effect on the brain is called dementia, which causes emotional and physical symptoms. Therefore, I would recommend you to visit this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia
