Concerta (which is a longer lasting Ritalin) combined with behavior modification and parent training. Anything else has been proven time and time again not to be effective.
Good luck!

not gving him any attention at all. i had a friend who had the same disease. we ostracized him.

we made him realize that the world doesnt only revolve on his.

though inhumane, doing a little cruelty can make sense.

nothing. you can't stop people from being butt-heads. i have add too and adderal works best it also helps u lose weight i lost 56 pouns on it in 5 weeks

Finding something to do with that extra energy. some have found hobbies like art, painting, building, and ect. people with that condition are recorded to be very academic when they arre given a true chance they learn quickly, they just need something to help channel all that extra energy.

If your speaking about a child i say ALL children suffer from it. that's just how they are, think back when you were a kid did you always listen 100% I'm sure you didn't.. i don't believe in childhood drugging (Ritalin and such) if your child is to rambunctious try a video game, game boy .. drawing graphics on the computer.. something where he is using his mind and hands.. works great for my kids and gives me the in between their tearing up the house to clean .. :-p

the only proven treatment is I like cake do you?
