I am taking 50 mg of Fluvoxamine . I want to try valerian root to ease my anxiety. Any interactions?

Not safe at all to mix without getting docs okay,id say see about switching antideppresants if you r having anxiety.Antideppresants dont allways work just right,you may have to go through several to find right one and right dose.Dont be ashamed or scared to tell doctor if your meds not helping!Why take a med thats not getting the job done?

Don't bother asking your Dr. he will tell you not to take it. He is right. Valerian root doesn't work very well any way. Get something from your doctor. There are many antidep. out there that have an anti-anxiety agent in them.
