Haven't tried sage, but I'd highly recommend another special type of leaf.
This other 'leaf' - actually a flower - can be eaten or smoked and is one of the best stress relievers know to mankind. I must add at this point, that I'm a professional who works full-time (and have done since I was 17) I have no criminal convictions and am in a medium income bracket, have travelled to many places in the world. I'm not boasting or anything, just trying to prove that not all 'users' are of the unemployed layabout or criminal ilk.
The law takes a dim view mind-you, but provided you use it in the comfort of your own home, there shouldn't be a problem.
Fluoexetine - AKA - Prosac. See your GP. They might give it to you. It is very good. They take a bit of getting used to ( a few unpleasant side effects (indegestion, stomach upsets, dizzyness).
Never tried sage, but I can say that the "leaf" mentioned by the other answerer is a bad idea.
