Technically, they can just be classified as materials to enhance your sex life, or whatever, so generally speaking its kind of the same.
But then again, porn is probably more hard core than novels and stuff, because it does contain sexually explicit images, but rather reading books just lets your imagination run wild. I guess with porn, its just more images, and if you see something wrong with that, then just stick to your books.
As a woman, I believe that porn is just wrong, since it does show too much, just kinda seems disrespectful to women and their bodies etc~ But hey, that's just me.
But either way.. porn or books, they're all the same. There's nothing wrong with exploring these things, and plus you're not hurting anyone in the process, and you're getting a better understanding of yourself, which is a good thing.
