What can I do so that I don't snap?

Question:
I am am easy going guy that takes alot of crap. People think that they can insult me because I dont ever seem offended on the outside. On top of that, my life kinda sucks, I only have one friend, I have never even came close to having a girlfriend, I am not succeeding at my job or at college. I feel like most of the time, everything I do is a waste of time. When people really piss me off, I have these really violent fantasys. I feel like I will snap sometime soon. What should I do?

Answers:
You just seem to me to be sensitive to the cruel reality of the world. Some internalize it and others, become more philosophical about it. It's nothing really personal you should dwell on. The world isnt' after you, but it sure can feel that way sometimes. Be kinder to yourself,, you're young, you're not supposed to have a whole heck of a lot just yet. No one finds their dream job at 19,, and many don't a girlfriend. Don't put yourself up against some false ideals of who has what, to which you sit and compare yourself to. You're you,, find a hobby, that's what I'd do.. lots of things to do alone anyway, and reflect on the great qualities you do possess. So long as you have a job, 1 friend, your health, a warm place to lay at night, food, transportation, a computer,... the list can go on and on,, it's more than some others have. Best thing to do when I'm feeling down, consider someone else worse off them myself (hope that turned out right),, things could always be worse is my point.

Sure wish you well! Don't snap, ,, you'll lose more than what you have now, which you might not realize is worth something!
