Does anyone else have constant thoughts of dying? How have you coped?
Question:
Answers:
Sorry about your situation.
Volunteering and helping others changes my perspective on everything. It puts suicidal thoughts to rest. Visit terminally ill patients and children, especially.
You need to focus on the life you have left to live, and live each day as your last. If you need something practical to help ease your fear about your family, take out a life insurance plan.
Also take solace in knowing that you were wrong about dying at 30. Therefore you are probably wrong about dying "any day now".

I have come very close to dying three times. I have been thought to have cancer once but thankfully it proved to be false. I have a medical condition that means I am at heightened risk of two nasty cancers. I get on with my life and thoroughly enjoy it. At least when I die I will have enjoyed it.
It really is going to be a bummer if on dying you realise you have spent the usefull part of your life fearing it!
Just a thought, and I don't want to scare you, but do you realise that the vast majority of people die in bed? That should not scare you either cause the vast majority do it peacefully in their sleep
I have been suffering with the same issues all my life! I finally had to put myself into a mental hospital to get my self on Meds that really worked for me, it took a month and a half of getting them to work and finding the right ones, I then went through some outpatient help to focus on some issues, which to you would be haveing freinds die, and then I was a little better.. After my meds were going good and I dealt with what was bothering me I started getting better.. Dont get me wrong I still have anxiety and panic, but it doesnt consume my life anymore..If you ever want to chat about it let me know.. Good Luck! and it does get better I promise!
I have. I was born ill and was ill most of my life. I knew I would not see 30 and in June before my 29th bday, I had a freak accident where my heart stopped.
Being ill, I know I will not see 50, I hope I will, but that is being realistic for me, and in a way preparing myself for the inevitable.
Death is a part of life, I don't think you have fully accepted that everyone must die. Where and when is really not our choice unless the cop out of suicide takes over.
I would strongly suggest that you go see a therapist. It is consuming your life and is becoming unhealthy. Good Luck!!
What is born, must die one day.
Why are you in a hurry?
Have you noticed that all the problems/sufferings and happiness in life are lessons intended from the Divine consciousness for us, so that we may learn and evolve?
Next time when you think about dying, just be aware that these *thoughts* don't belong to you. It will pass by and gone.
