Is this normal?
Question:
Answers:
No, it's not really a normal thing.
But it might not by a psych problem. There could be a medical problem causing that. Are you diabetic? It is possible that your blood sugar is going down low at night, which is a common problem among diabetics. If that's the case, you may wake up wanting some carbs to make your sugar come back up.
Other Answers:
try having a snack right before you go to bed
see if that helps
no its not normal if you are leaving "snakes" by your bed. I guess you must consult a doc.
You're eating snakes at night? No, that's not at all normal. If you just mean normal snacks, it's ok as long as it's not causing unhealthy weight gain. You may consider seeing a doctor to check for chemical imbalances or other disorders, but if you're happy and healthy, who cares?
yea, its weird, are you pregnant because pregnant women usually have food cravings
what are the snakes for? you leave snakes by your bed? that's odd! kidding, i know you meant snacks. maybe your pregnant, maybe your not disciplined. just cuz your hungry does not mean you have to eat. if you know your getting enough. maybe you have a vitamin deficiency. ask your doc if your really concerned!
are you pregnant? How much are you eating during the day? It depends.
If you aren't getting a good amount of nutrients and food during the day, then you could be waking up hungry during the night. what kind of snacks are you having? Maybe they just aren't filling you up.
I would try to eat somthing a little heavier before bed time.that way you won't be waking up hungry.give it a shot
It's not good for you and can lead to weight gain. Try having a high protein snack before bed and then when you wake up, only drink water. Your body is in the habit of needing food, but you can break yourself of that habit by instilling a new one. I don't understand why you have to buy snakes.I just don't get it.
eat more then you may not be hungry.
Perhaps you should trying gorging on a family-sized Pizza just before you sleep. Not only will you not wake up for those delicious snakes, you'll also enjoy some pretty wild dreams
very unhealthy you should consult for your diet habits Snakes. . .hmmm. . .there's a new one.
Snacks in the middle of the night. . .not a mental health problem most likely if it wakes you. Probably a blood sugar thing. Might check with your family doctor. Unless, of course you have an eating disorder like bulimia or you're well on your way to becomming extrememly obese. Then it could be a mental thing. Maybe you're eating for comfort? Sounds like you need to investigate.
Not to sound to mean but no it doesn't sound normal either Ur pregnant, or their's something on Ur mind that's bothering u and u eat to forget about or it could just be that u have to curve ur appetite I would say that this is not normal. You should not HAVE to have snacks to fall asleep again. My suggestion is to have a professional's help on this, or to maybe get some sleeping pills that will help you sleep through the night.
Good Luck!
That is not normal. You've basically conditioned yourself to do something that is not good for you. Make sure you are eating balanced meals during the day. Before bed, maybe have a glass of milk or something, but don't eat in the middle of the night. You'll get fat, and if you don't brush your teeth after you're done, you're going to get cavities.
Get yourself out of the habit the same way you got yourself into the habit. When you wake up in the middle of the night and think you need to eat something, just have a glass of water. Don't eat snacks.
If you just absolutely can't NOT eat during the night, see your doctor. Something could be wrong.
no, it's not normal but i do it too. My best friend from college also does this on a regular basis. i have actually gotten up and made a snack and in the morning have no recollection of doing it. do you drink or smoke before you go to bed? do u eat lead paint chips too?
I was gonna say, snakes by the bed would stop me from doing ANYTHING! Now, about those snacks. Why not keep a crisper full of fresh cut up veggies by the bed, then when the urge hits, you can munch away, guilt free.
its normal sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night cuz it feels like i cant breath so i have to eat something
