Is this normal?women please?

Question: I have been bleeding down there for three months now, I feel week, tired,depressed, anxiety,and nervousness,ever since i got a birth control shot called depro.I feel as if I,m having a mentalbreakdown. i want this to go away, does any one know how long do the side affect of depo go on? i have a doctors apointment for the bleeding but i havent told him about the other side effects yet.I feel scared. has any one ever been through this?

I had the exact same thing happen to me the first time I got the Depo shot. I bled the entire time, it was horrible, as far as the emotional side effects, obviously Depo isn't for you because it had an adverse affect on your chemical balances. I havn't been thru that but I can tell you that that doesn't sound normal at all and you should get to the doctor as soon as possible and tell him EVERYTHING you've been feeling, sounds liek thats probably not the best birth control for you

While I am not a woman, I am an EMT. You need to see someone right away for the bleeding. It sounds like you have become anemic. Check the phonebook for your local hospital and see if there is a nurse helpline. These are usually manned 24/7 and are free. Or try WebMD.com and enter "Depro". Best of luck to you.

He/She won't know what's going on, if you don't say anything. Forget about being scared..........This is your health

I was on Depo and gained a lot of weight, and loss a lot of hair, excessive bleeding, etc.

Try and find another birth control method...........I switched to Alesse birth control pills, and haven't had any problems.
