I need to regain my selfsteem,I need a psychologist?

There are alot of alternatives and there is nothing wrong with seeing a psychologist. I find group therapy the most helpful, I have the same problem, it helps to be with others and realize that you are not alone, you feel less ashamed and you start to regain respect for yourself. :)

or you can talk to a friend - ride a bike...do something that makes you feel better.

And never let anybody talk down to you. :)

If doing what you love doesn't help you, then yes, see a psychologist and don't be ashamed :)
