Possibly a depression problem...?
Question:
Yeah, well ever since school started i have been feeling really sad about everything. Also something that has really been getting to me, is my girlfriend breaking up with me, and then seeing her walking in the hallway with another guy. I trust her and all, and i know it wont happen, this stupid thought has really been bothering me. I actually cry quite a bit now, when i think about something like that happening.
Also well, since i was about 11 or 12, i have always been secretly sad and nearly commited suicide a few times. Ever since i met my girlfriend life has been really great for me.

- Pray alot. Have faith in the religion of your choice. Believing that someone powerful is willing to help you, strengthen your belief you will recover.
- Use auto suggestion first and last thing in the day : "Everyday in every way, I am getting better and better." Repeat the sentence any time your are free like travelling or waiting. Record and play it to yourself. Say it with positive feeling.

Your situation does indeed sound difficult, and I can imagine how hard this must be for you. Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a condition in which the individual has periods of depressive episodes in which he or she experiences such symptoms and a sad, depressed mood, weight gain or loss, sleep disturbance, aggitation or a lack of ability/want to move, and a loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities. There is, however, a disorder called Dysthymia. Dysthymia is a disorder where, over the course of at least the past 2 years, you have felt depressed more of the day than not for more days than not and have not gone more than 2 months without experiencing depression.
If you do go to a psychologist this weekend, which it sounds like would be a good idea, inform him or her of all of these factors, including your history, and tell him that you think you may have MDD or Dysthymia. These are very treatable disorders, even without medications, and I truly feel that you will be able to overcome the depression and think of these occurances as simply negative events that many people must, and do, experience in life. Good luck, my friend.
