is this normal?

Question: my little sister is 15 yrs old and she still talks to herself and has imaginary friends. i feel worried that at her age she still has imaginery friends do u think she will grow out of it?

That sounds pretty unusual for a 15-year-old. Most kids have imaginary friends, but they grow out of that during elementary school. I don't really know if she will grow out of it, but I would talk with your parents about your concern and encourage them to take her to a therapist.

15? a bit odd.try talking to her about them, and don't make fun of her. I believe this is not normal. Children have usually grown out of the "imaginary" stage by (or before) the age of10. They start to see the world from a more logical perspective as their brain starts to develop.

At 15 if she still is seeing "imaginary" people she may have a neurological disorder. You should talk to your parents about this and see if they have considered consulting a psychiatrist

15 is a hard age for any girl. You may first want to ask yourself , is she having problems at school ? Does she talk about friends from school, does she invite friends over to hang out, or does she go to her friends houses to just hang or do things. I have two teenagers, and this is what they constantly want to do as do their friends. Keep an eye on her, and talk to your parents about this, there could be a deep rooted problem that requires counseling or therapy. I've got an imaginary friend. It started out for fun and it still is for fun. His name is Ruben and since I'm the only one who can see him and talk to him I translate (still just for fun). And one of the funniest parts is that I'm 14!
