Does anyone out there think Timothy Treadwell had some kind of mental illness?

Question: I was very intrigued by the true life documentary of Timothy Treadwell in “Grizzly Man”
Timothy seemed like a great guy, and his death was very sad. It was also sad that he didn’t realize the great danger he was in.
There just wasn't something right about him and I keep asking myself if he had some kind of mental illness.
