What could it mean if a person has frequent nightmares about being chased by some unknown creature?
Question:
Answers:
I means that you are mentally running from something you do not know.
Are you afraid of getting older, public speaking, getting married, going to college? What new event is coming up in your life that has you nervous? Stop and face that fear and the nightmares should stop.
If you could have the presence of mind to stop in your dream and turn and ask what it is, you could have your answer that way too. Lucid dreaming they call that - apparently people do it all the time.
Peace!
Other Answers:
That you feel guilty about something and it's hunting you down!
that they owe somebody some money and they better pay up soon. :)
It usually ends up being your spouse or significant other :-)
Undigested bit of potatoe.
you are hiding something from someone and are afraid to be found out so you are being chased by the truth and guilt that haunt you
dreams dont need to mean anything.. it could be nonsense (which is more than likely)

It may mean your body wants you to get up and go to the bathroom, or that you are having a low blood sugar episode, and the nightmare stimulates your adrenaline while you sleep, which releases sugar from storage (liver, etc.)
You may want to check out the symptoms page at www.hufa.org and see if you have other symptoms of a chronic low blood sugar condition.
i believe that ur mind has sum unresolved sexual tension. that unknown creature is actually ur peinis just wanting sum sexual relief.
some kind of unresolved conflict or problem in your waking life. our thoughts never stop.
I'm not sure but I would say guilt or something like that.
the unknown creature probably represents somebody or something in your life that you feel is not how you would like it to be. whether it's your spouse that is bugging you or a job that's not right. it's something you feel is baring down on you in someway. think about the things that are upsetting you, honestly upsetting you. you may be surprised by the answers you come up with. once you figure out what it is, you can take steps towards changing it.
somethings bothering you and you need to fix it if you don't you will keep having bad dreams
Well, Klamden sort-of has a point. We are all going to die; just hopefully not any time soon.
Um, I used to have this dream that my best friend in around Jr High (we moved when I was in 11th grade. I went to school with her from 6th-11th grades) and I were running through a maze in a field being chased by a woman with a butcher knife. It was reoccuring.maybe that's why I can still picture the woman in my mind.
Anyway, this friend and I were always talking about elaborate plots to "get back at our teachers." This was primarily her fantasy, and she'd come up with the plots and I'd just add details, but somehow I think the dreams were connected to our "revenge plans."
I dont know because i have nightmares that im getting shot , blown-up, chased by zombies with their brains showing. i even had a dream alligators were ripping me to shreds, so if u find out anything let me know.
