Can you be retrained? Contact your local community college. You may be able to enrol part time in the fall.
If you love people and your good with your hands and looking for something opposite to what you have been doing you should enroll in a massage therapy course . You can make very good money doing this between 30-50 an hour.
maybe take what you know from your experience in construction, and apply it to managing rental properties/apts. You can train younger guys to do the labor. Are you a laborer now? Read " The E-Myth" by Michael Gerber
