Relaxation Ideas?

Question:
I have been extremely stressed lately..working alot and doing to much for others.I need to spend some downtime some me time what suggestions do you all have?

Answers:
Ensure that all the work that will have you busy are done the day before wake very early in the morning and take a nice long warm steam in your tub, with something over your eyes. Feel please to even fall a sleep if you are getting really comfortable, Try not to think of anything, not even that you are relaxing. Don't think, just lay there for about two hours. Eat something that you love very much and that won't take up any of your relaxing time. Then say a prayer and take a nap, even if it is not yet time to sleep. When you wake do some stretches to loosen your limbs, just to make sure that you don't feel too lazy, then take a bath and your good to do what ever you wish.

Other Answers:
Day at the spa with the works
If you can't afford that do it at home with facial hot bath etc

Take a Nap sex is very relaxing.trust me.

Nothing is more stress relieving than spending an hour in qi gong and tai chi practice. This is something anyone can do, not as physically demanding as other forms of relaxing exercises such as Yoga. If you're physically limited you can still look for a tai chi class near you and get into practicing this form of stress relief on a regular basis.

Exercise (walking, running, playing tennis - whatever you like)
Yoga
Writing in a journal
Meditation/prayer
Self-pampering (e.g. going to a spa, taking a long bath, getting a massage)
Go on a vacation

the best way is to meditate.you say that you do too much for others if you really love doing it you wont be stressed A lot of great ideas so far.
I draw a bath with epsom salts or sweet almond oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil, pour a cup of chamomile tea to drink while in the tub, light a candle and soak. Spend time in the tub praying, meditating, deep breathing.
When I drain the tub I watch the water go down the drain and imagine that all my troubles are going down the drain with it.
Then go to bed. one free thing that works well on stress.
BREATHE! i am not being sarcastic,
it is the o2 exchange that helps.
so what ever makes you breathe!!
Ti Chi
Yoga
swim
run
punch a bag..
the real secret is to breathe, {and thats FREE}
regulate your breathing, in your nose, and out your mouth,
force the air out for the first few breaths, get rid of the icky chemicals stress creates.then try to relax.slow in your nose..slow out your mouth..

re connect with the REAL world..go for a walk in the woods, sit by a reflective pond, and pretend to fish{lol}, visit a park, an aquarium, the zoo..get back to the REAL world, the world you were born a part of..

and, DON"T forget!, make more time for yourself.say no once in a while..its ok..it may sound selfish..but if you keep emptying yourself like this.there will be nothing to give. You should look into meditation and relaxation therapy. There are some good programs around such as yoga, etc. Check your local area for such programs. They will avoid the use of drugs and need not cost you a lot.
