I'm majoring in psychology and we have recently been talking about bipolar disorder. Obviously, nobody can diagnosis you except a licensed psychologist.. but here's my advice. mental disabilities run among family members more than most people realize. If your father is bipolar there's a good chance that you could possibly have a chemical imbalance as well. Being bipolar isn't a "bad" thing, just like any mental disorder isn't a bad thing... It's important that if you are having fits of rage that you get some help and possibly get some medication.. you don't want to hurt yourself or anyone else during these times.. and it's easy to do so. good luck, and I hope that my advice helped.. and it's not a dumb question!
Bipolar is not rage. People with bipolar might get very agitated or very upset but they don't normally rage. Hmmmm bipolar is a mood disorder. Your mood has very extreme highs and lows. Unless you have a lot of other symptoms I would say you are not bipolar. Not sure this helps but good luck!
