best ways to stay motivated?


Question:
When I get stressed out about one thing and start to slip up in one area of my life, I just let everything else go. I'm looking for answers and help for keeping myself motivated to stay balanced in everything from spirituality to diet.

Answers:
The domino effect is only an attitude of the mind. Hope and despair are just 2 dif sides of the same coin. Focus is what you need, for both hopeful matters and despairing moments. Think through either, in dif times, and at dif places. Some things need a 'cap' (esp despairing issues), others will go on as per normal with focus.

Listen to others' perspective, but don't even take them as The Gospel Truth. Work thru your stresses with input from other stable sources. When you find yourself 'stuck' in your thinking, that's when you may like to put a 'cap' on it till further notice. Most human problems can resolve itself in time, unless you are being hounded by loan sharks or you've been involved in criminal activity.

Don't let 'false guilt' take the better of you either.
