do positive affirmations really work?

Question:

Answers:
They can work. The first few times you use them, you feel like a git, but persistence helps. I print my affirmations and stick copies in places I will seem them - like the back of my front door, so I see them before I leave for work, and in my wallet.

You can't just use 'positive' affirmations though. They need to be realistic. Like, "I can get through today without a cigarette", or "I can learn the skills to fight depression", rather than "I am a non-smoker" or "I feel happy and marvellous all the time".

Other Answers:
Positive affirmations work very well, try this k write them down on paper, and place them in your bathroom mirror, bedroom door, anywhere you can see them, set your goals and make it easy, then increase your goals or whatever you need to improve in your life, always keep your mind always positive, and avoid those who are negative. You'll see events get better, if you follow through with your plans, good luck.
