The lavatory trap?

Question:

When I was 5 years old, if I went to the lavatory; when I flushed the chian... I had to count to 100, otherwise I though all the people in my family would die.

Anyone else done this?

no sorry, i dont think i had superstitions when i was that small.. not wit the toilet anyways..

I never did that but i thought that if i flushed the toilet then all the scary people would come because when they would have heard me flush the toilet and know that i was awake. Im scared of the dark even to this day and i hate going to the toilet in the middle of the night. Now its not so much that i think they will come and get me but rather i worry there is someone in the house watching me go into the bathroom and leave the bathroom.
