I agree. There are lots of people that would try to take advantage of vulnerable people.
If you want to know a secret, psychiatrists do little more than listen to you, and repeat what you say in different words. All they do is HELP you help yourself by pushing you to question why you feel the way you feel and how YOU can solve your own problems. If you MUST seek help, make sure the person you are receiving help from is licensed!

Hi! I am not a psychiatrist but am a psychologist - the only difference being a psychiatrist is also an MD and therefore can prescribe drugs, while a psychologist can not.
