What are some good books on the subject of emotional intelligence?

Question: Emotional intelligence is an important subject, but unfortunately it often goes un-noticed. Therefore, I want to set an example and learn it.

Answers:
Allow Socrates to teach you about intelligence, emotion or not, he is the king. Read Euthyphro, Apology, Crito, Phaedo by Plato is all you need for what's really intelligent and one on one answers that kick all axx, Emotions are for what, let's get real and stop sippin on wine and eating cheese. Emotions are like you know what's, everyone has them, and they ruin pure thinking. Period. It goes un-noticed because it convolutes logic.

Read the book of Proverbs. A lot of good advice such as "be slow to anger" and others.
