Does anyone know of a disorder in children that may cause a child to be unable to decipher real from unreal?

My daughter is 6 years old, until today believed that she had a big imagination. Today however we believe that she may be having problems deciphering what is real and unreal. She went to school today and when she got there she was crying. She told the school councilor that I had gotten run over by a car while I was riding my bike adn that she rode with me inthe ambulance. The councilor said that she was crying. The councilor called my family to make sure that I was ok and they started to worry about me. When she reached me on the phone she knew it had to be a story. The crazy thing is I don't ride a bike. My daughter soes have some learning disabilities and is in a self-contained integrated classroom. She has told me that some friends have gotten hit by a car or kids eaten by a snake, or there are rats that are poisenous at school. Is this something that I should be worried about or is this just a phase? If you know of anything that I can research that would be helpful.

What are the different symptoms?

Answers:
Best to discuss it with a professional. But it could also be there are just some mean kids taking advantage of her disability and confusing her with weird stories.

Whats your biggest problem in life?

some of this is common in all kids
too many cartoons or video games can make it worse
