Ecstasy effects?

Question:
What are the effects both long and short of this drug? i have been told my son takes this at the weekends. He recently has become very ill mentally. Could this drug be responsible or more likely to be his hash use?

Answers:
any illegal drug can mess ur head up including Es and weed. weed can make u paranoid + anxious while Es taken regularly can cause depression + anxiety

short term effect of Es are the best night of ur life in a rave club if u are with the right people, thats probably why he does it, as it creates loads of happy chemistry in his brain, so he will feel euphoric looking at an apple

It can cause depression and paranoia, thats what i have heard anyway.. I have never took any myself or never will.
As far as i am concerned it's dangerous anyway...or it can be fatal in some cases..
It will be both, he really needs to get off drugs and see his doctor.
I liken hash to alcohol, most people who take it will not become alcoholics, but many will !
Same as hash, most people won't develop mental health problems but many will.
One nasty side effect of e is sudden death, may happen with your 1st tab or maybe with your 99th, a risk I wouldn't take.
Good Luck, you have a lot of hard work in front of you.
The use of ecstasy has been associated with impaired mental health and impaired judgment. While under the influence of the drug, users may sometimes experience confusion, disorientation, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia, depersonalization, derealisation, perceptual disorders and hallucinations, paranoia and psychotic phenomena. It is possible that some of these effects may continue for a period after cessation of the drug.
Taking large quantities of ecstasy for several days may be at some risk of persistently low serotonin. As low serotonin has been linked to depression and anxiety, it has been suggested that heavy users of ecstasy may be at increased risk of developing psychological problems of this nature.

A NIDA-supported study has provided the first direct evidence that chronic use of MDMA, popularly known as "ecstasy," causes brain damage in people.

Although ecstasy is not usually physically addictive, it can be habit-forming.
no sense Hm!
probably a mix of both, they are both damaging.I have not read the above entries,no doubt deluded people will be saying, drugs are harmless-dont listen, and get your son to a doctor before something more serious happens.
