What are you eating for breakfast? Nothing...your body is shutting down from lack of nutrition. High sugar/caffeine breakfast...your blood sugar is dropping quickly after being so high. You need to eat a low sugar whole grain breakfast like oatmeal or shredded wheat. Add a fruit like bananas or blueberries and NO coffee/colas for breakfast. Also, are you getting enough sleep? Try going to bed an hour earlier and getting some exercise in the late afternoon/early evening. Try this for a week and see if it works!
Eat a banana and drink orange juice everyday.
sometimes the blood sugar can drop in the late morning, especially if you're having a high calorie breakfast. or coffee with lots of sugar. maybe try a healthy snack to help bring up the sugar level. if you have a sugary snack it could just cause the sugar to drop again later on. good luck.
the same thing used to happen to me. do you eat any thing when you start getting tired? cause you might be getting low blood sugar... hope this info helped
Do you drink coffee at breakfast? If so, that could be your problem right there. When the caffiene wears off, people tend to feel even more tired than they were when they woke up.

It could also be that you regular eat large breakfasts. Anything more than some cereal, yoghurt or fruit in the morning is going to make you tired later in the day. Digesting is an tiring process on our bodies.

Try avoiding caffiene in the morning and try eating a light breakfast and bringing some carrot sticks, granola or apple slices for a mid morning snack if you get hungry. You should have more energy.
With out knowing more it would be hard to really say... but this sounds to me like a blood sugar problem. When your blood sugar gets a little low about 2-3 hours after you eat breakfast you will get tired... this happens a LOT to people around 3pm...

Grab a snack and see if it helps... if you can't or don't want to grab a snack, try eating a heartier breakfast... that is what helped me...

you might also want to keep a meal diary for like 2 weeks and see if you notice any types of patterns with your meals and how you feel... You might find some sensitivities or just realize that some foods aren't "feeding" you enough
My guess is a reactive hypoglycemic episode.
Eat a breakfast that is not as high in carbohydrates, and have a snack, with some carbs (juice for example) as a pick me up at ten and you'll be rarin to go.

Don't overdo it or you'll ruin your lunch.
What time do you go to bed every night? it could be that at that time you blood sugar is running low as well.do you eat breakfast? try a high energy bar about half an hour before you get to work..most important though try and stop looking at the clock if you can because same as insomnia sometimes the body will self perpetuate..
Similar to waking up on hols when your alarm normally wakes you for work.
Also try going to bed a little earlier than normal for a couple of nights see if that helps..best of luck...whatever it is will pass.try not to worry about it too much.
Did you sleep late at night?
Try sleeping before 10pm. This was what I heard years ago from a radio talk show. Perhaps you can also drink a cup of coffee with your breadfast. I do not know about your office environment and condition. If permits, you can do some physical work (photocopy, filling, calling customers, meeting, etc) around 10am.
Could be lots of factors...

Do you get plenty of sleep/rest?
What is your diet consist of?
Do you drink a lot of caffeinated drinks?
What kind of work do you do?

1. If you don't get enough rest, anything you do will just temporarily wake you up.

2. If you eat a lot of carbs, then your blood sugar level, probably drops and leaves you feeling tired. You may opt for lighter breakfast, and a two light snacks.

3. Maybe you need more water and juice and less pop or coffee.

4. If you sit all day maybe you need to stretch, go for a short walk, get outside and get fresh air, sometimes our brains just need some oxygen...or if your running around all day and you haven't eaten and you're feeling tired maybe you need to sit down and take 5 to eat a apple or banana.

Well, hope this helps!
Take care.
Are you getting at least 8 hours of non interrupted sleep? When you wake up do you feel rested and energized then around 10am tend to fizzle out? Do you eat high sugary items for breakfast...which will send you into a "high" then drop you into a "low". Also, dehydration...(water!) even the mildest can cause ones body to feel tired. If this is a ongoing issue and think about what is "normal" and what is not "normal" that you are experiencing. If you feel concerned as it seems I suggest you see your family physician and let him know how you feel. You could have something very easy to treat such as a thyroid issue to something more serious.
Hugs to you! I hope you get feeling better! I said a prayer for you.
Did you sleep well and enough? If yes, maybe you have hidden disease, it would be better for you to have a body check. Or maybe you just felt your job is too boring or annoying? If so, it will be a mental health problem rather than a physical one, then what you needed is to get a new job.
guarana and ginseng supplements. take for 1 month then break for a month cos if u take for too long ur body will ignore it/fight against the supplement. pure royal jelly is brilliant too. also i kno this sounds a bit yucky but trust me . get a high strength good quality cider vinegar and high strength manuka honey [or a good COLD PRESSED honey] mix a spoon of honey with two spoons of cider vinegar in a mug of barely lukewarm water [too hot + it will kill vitamins etc ] topped up with cool water and drink down. after a few days u will really notice difference in energy, skin tone, eyes will be brighter etc...it really works it purifies u from within i dont know how or why it works i just know it does!! also maybe take "spatone" liquid iron supplement and "seven seas multibionta" and "higher nature" omega 3,6,9 supplement [omega oils are a proven brain food the higher the stength the more that absorbed etc!] regularly. if u are relying on coffee and tea at the moment consider u may have an intolerance to caffene so u may want to switch to herbal tea as an alternative; "clipper" do a nice range of fruit teas. finally you may have a food intolerance such as wheat or dairy [soooo many people do and have no clue!] so consider doing the carol voordaman's 28 day detox diet or similar [also pick up some Leslie Kenton books at ur local library]... i swear its brilliant, ok, its pure hell for the first couple of weeks but u will feel like a new person if u break through the pain barrier as it were and then u will know what food intolerances u may have whch is usually the cause of many peoples fatigue. ps...huge believer in organics... try it...its worth it, i never believed it till i tried it! also try haing some pure fruit smoothies as fruit has slow release sugars and will not send the bodys insulin levels crazy and wont make u slump suddenly...hope all this helps- lety me know how u get on, best wishes x
lucozade in the tablet/sweet form you buy them at the chemist they are good enough to bring a diabetic around so they will perk you up hun just dont over do them and eat them as sweets as they are very tasty as they will have the effect of tons of coffee if you do xxx
do you eat breakfast? the body needs some fuel 4 the day to keep going !!!
All of these answers here make sense, in addition a thyroid issue could be emanent, or stress and sleepwalking.
Firstly, it would be a good idea to go to your doctor who will give you a blood test to determine hormone levels, and see if you are diabetic. Also, have a good breakfast with cereal nuts and fruit as they are going to release energy slowly. Take fruit to eat if you feel like this too. Good luck.
