Alternative to caffeine? I have been feeling down?


Question:
I have been feeling down lately, two days ago I had a cup of coffee and then I felt ok. Yesterday was down and so did today, but today again tried some coffee and now I'm ok.
I don't want to depend on caffeine, is there another alternative? I just feel down, depressed like.

Lots of times its diet that makes us feel down. The problem with caffeine is that eventually your body will come down from that artificial high. Try eliminating all less healthy food ( junk food, over processed foods, carbonated drinks ) and substitute fruits , veggies , lean meats. You will feel better.

The other thing I suggest is laughter. Be it from funny movies, books, comic routines..anything that makes you laugh can help with depression and health in general.

If you don't feel better soon, see your doctor.
Try exercise and get an endorphin high.

I'm the same way, I can't function properly without coffee. I've heard that vitamin B12 call help. Or those natual energy drinks. And if all else fails, just face the caffine withdrawls and feel like crap for a few days... good luck with that!
