Do you see a therapist?
Question:
Answers:
I see a therapist and she can help me with just about anything I throw at her, except for cats, she doesn't know anything about cats, and I am a cat enthusiast. But she is SO smart. She gives me another perspective. I see her once a month, but if something is on my mind I can call her anytime. My 14 year old cat died 7 months ago, and to me it was like loosing a child, I grieved so deeply for her, and my therapist totallly helped me through that dark time. Like I said she is super smart, and it's obvious she really cares too. I think I'm lucky to have that kind of help and I kind of wish everybody did.
I did for 5 years for depression and anxiety
nope, I dont feel the need to really. therapists dont seem like they could help and I am pretty happy where I am right now.
im glad you do though cause depression isnt worth going through alone
my mom used to make me go, at a strange time when I was very young, I don't know why, all we really did was play Uno the entire time
I had to for about 3 months, and it wasn't for me. I am independent, and I told her that if anyone was going to help me, it would be myself. I don't discredit her for anything, she's a wonderful person, I would have said the same to anyone else. I respect people working in that field greatly for going out of their way to help others. This kind of stuff is for some people, and some people it's not. That was my case. They can be a great help though, just not for me.
