What could be wrong?

Throughout the course of a day (usually everyday) ill have mood swings. Like one minute I'm thinking about soo many bad things. I don't think i can breathe. Ill want to scream and cry. Its hard to stand. Then ill try to adjust my thoughts and try to think about something good. Usually that works. But the change is like in minutes. I feel soo hopeless and sad. I think i've got something more than just depression. Ive considered maybe I'm bipolar. HELP!

yeah sounds like you bipolar, just go to a therapist and they will probably give you meds for this [it's ok to have meds, i have anti-depressents and i'm back to my normal life] so just go as soon as you can to get back on track with your life.

You do sound depressed or your hormones are out of wack. You should seek counseling because your thinking all these bad things. The 1st thing is are these bad thoughts about you or others or are you just depressed because of all the bad "things" that happen in the world? If it's 1 or 2 seek a doctor & if it's 3 well it's life and focus on the fact you are alive and enjoy life because later when you are older you look back & you missed out on a lot of good stuff. I think you are on the right track by changing your negative thoughts to be positive ones. It takes time but if you consistantly change those negative thoughts, eventually you won't have them any more. Being positive takes time and energy at first but it can work wonders for you in the long run. I have been there when it comes to mood swings and found that the only thing that worked for me wasn't the drugs for depression but persistantly working on changing my thoughts. You have control of your thoughts so use that to your own benefit.
