Not at all. My 2 dogs are my best friends and every one else can bu**er off as far as I'm concerned. We chat all day, and i need no one else. You're perfectly normal dearest, as normal as me anyway!! (which is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy from normal as others may see it!!) hehehe I'm nuts really.
No, I don't think you're crazy, lots of people have pets as best friends.a pet is non-judgmental, doesn't criticize and loves unconditionally. All they ask in return is that you feed and care for them. Lots of times a psychiatrist or psychologist might prescribe getting a pet to care for as, at least partial, remedy for lonliness, depression, as well as some other medical diseases.
So, keep loving your cat but, I would suggest that you try to find at least at least 1person to befriend as well, maybe another cat lover.someone who has the same interests as you...if you are around people with your same interests it usually becomes easier to relate and find friends.

sometimes we don't "like" people that well because of past, bad experiences, trust issues. or we could be a little social phobic as well, for no apparent reason.

i used to have a cat i adored, and still miss him today. he WAS my BEST FRIEND!
