I'm secretive?

Question:
I have social anxiety. I'm really secretive to my work colleagues. For example they'll ask what I did the other night after work and I just say nothing much. I don't like to talk about my life outside of work. Am I wise o'r unfriendly?

Answers:
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'm the same way to an extent at my job. There are some co-workers that I'm more open with than others, because I trust certain ones more than others. You're there to work not socialize anyway, so it's not bad to not want to be totally open with your life outside of work.
Eh, small talk is boring. It's always good to acknowledge people's questions, but i can understand why you don't feel like talking to them.
No, you are like many people who do not socialize out side of work. Some people think it is a must, as others such as you do not need it to make your life fulfilling. At times I am like you and keep to myself, but there are exceptions.

Try to relax and try it a couple of times. You might just like it.
u dont have to and personally i like it when people are like that i hate to hear about the party they went to and how trashed they got its disgusting work is work thats y ur there ur not there to get into peoples lifes its not there buisness wat u did over the week end its ur and urs alone dont let it bother u its not there personal life its urd
I am the same way, know ones business what I do outside of work! ;-)
I say that you are wise. There is nothing wrong with not wanting everybody (especially at work) to know about your personal life. If they want to think you're rude, secretive, weird, etc., so be it.
