Mental Rehab?
Question:
for depression and such?
Answers:
Taking time in the hospital for mental health can be a life saver. Sometime it is needed to get medication adjusted, education for whatever problems you might be having or diagnosis or what the problem might be.
iam sure
Im not sure if there is.But I know that almost every hospital has a ward for people who have mental promblems.
There are inpatient clinics for people with serious mental health problems. Usually you have to be in serious danger of hurting yourself to qualify for inpatient treatment, but all community mental health centers will have places to send people who are seriously depressed or have other mental illnesses where they are to the point of being a risk to themselves or others.
yes, its called going to a psych ward or a mental health facility. they have outpatient services, or you can check in and stay there. not everyone one goes to a mental health facility against their will (eg Girl, Interrupted, or One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest)
theres little point in calling it rehab tho, since ure not rehabilitating yourself from an addiction to something. its just that youre either in a bad place emotionally, or ur brain chemistry is a bit off and u need some meds and counseling.
if ure a celeb and u want mental health rehab, u call off your latest movie shoot or world tour and go hang out in tahiti for a while.
You mean inpatient care for the mentally ill? Yes, they have these, they don't sound nearly as bad to me as some people think they are - some of the facilities that treat addiction also treat eating disorders, self harm, people at risk of suicide - I think you need to be referred by an outpatient psychiatrist.
yes there is
