I never figured out what had been wrong with her?

Question:
This is something that happened a while back when I was in highschool. I was on a youth trip with my church, we had taken a bus, an old school bus.
While we were on the trip one of the adults (a woman I knew from when I was a kid, an ex-sunday school teacher) started acting funny. She started muttering to herself and seemed nervous and distracted.
Then on the way home she started talking to herself again and she got louder until she started laughing outloud at nothing. I looked back at where she was sitting in the seat behind me and she was sweating really badly and had this wild look in her eyes.
Then she got up on the back of her seat and straddled it like a horse and started whooping and swinging her arm like she was going to lasso something. She was rocking back and forth as if on a bucking bronco.
Finally the adults came and got her down and got her to calm down.
What do you think was wrong with her? She had never acted that way before, at least not in front of us?

Answers:
She could have some kind of a mental problem. Maybe you never saw her act this way because you were never with her for this amount of time. Maybe she was not taking her meds as she was instructed to. Sometimes people do not want to take their meds because they do not like the way it makes them feel.
schizophrenia or drugs.
It sounds to me like she was a diabetic and she was going into diabetic shock from lack of insulin. Diabetics can act very strange when they are going into diabetic shock, and yes, this behavior would be something a diabetic person could do.
