What do you think?

Question:
I am 31 years old and about to get my BS in lab science. I put off going to college for a very long time (9 years) to help my fiance's parents run their farm. Both of her parents had cancer, so I took care of it.

As long as I can remember I wanted to be a doctor. I still do but I am not sure if I will be missing out and passing my life up. I've done a lot of good but neglected myself and now I feel tired.

What do all of you think I should do? How can I start feeling like myself again? Thanks.

Answers:
It sounds like you are exhausted from taking care of everyone else. If you are not getting enough in return, it's not surprising you are running out of gas. It's time for you to take care of Number #1 You first. Hopefully this will replenish your energy supply enough so you can decide what you want to do with your life. Good Luck, Your #1
I believe that just the act of applying for school to pursue your own dreams will be more than enought to get you feeling like yourself again...I commend you for helping out her parents, but now you need to do for you and get your self esteem back...something tells me you will make a great doctor! :)
