Bipolar...?
my daughters father has bipolar and manic depression. he uses it as an excuse. he never can be blamed for anything bcuz it's not him its his disorder. how do i deal
Answers:
When a person knows he is doing wrong and blames his disorder on his behavior, he is not going to change.
You deal by knowing he is bipolar and will do things because he will get away with it. If and when he does not take his medication, the problem will get a lot worse.
If you can, getting away from him is the best thing. His behavior problems will make raising your daughter that much harder.
Also, watch for signs that your daughter may have inherited the disorders.
he should be blamed, when you ignore something it just gets worse.
Alright, how am I supposed to make this feeling go away?
Bring him to a doctor they do have meds for that . Act Quick
I don’t conjecture I’ll ever be cheery, or physically whole… I merely don’t know what to do?
smoke hash
i conversations with myself sometimes is that weird?
u can blame him for stuff. my cuzin has bipolar and the diseas doesn't make her do all the horible things she does!
ummm im bipolar he probably just wants you to feel sorry for him tell him to see a doctor zoloft works wonders for me
He is responsible for getting effective treatment for his disorder. If he is not and that is causing disruption in your life he needs to be confronted about that.
My mind is erasing and/or altering memories?
aren't we all
How do I stop hurting yourself.?
He needs to deal with his disease...it is HIS disease..not yours! Don't let him use that as an excuse..hold him accountable for his actions! If he is "in the right mind" to use that as an excuse..then he knows what he is doing!
To add to T S's comment, please make sure and check on your daughter to see if she inherited it. My dads whole entire family has manic depression and I inherited it my self from them, and I let it suffer for too long to the point where it got severe. So please just make sure to talk to your daughter and tell her if she has any depression feelings or symptoms that they can be helped. I hope your situation gets better with your daughters father.
i have bipolar and his excuse is not good he has the ability to know right from wrong or there would be a lot of bipolars robbing banks
