How do i stop my flinching problem?

Question:
This may sound weird but i flinch a lot. I flinch when i hear the school bell even when i know it's coming so it's not even a surprise to me. I flinch when i hear loud sounds or sudden sounds out of nowhere. I wasn't a flincher before it's just now i don't even know why. I sometimes flinch when i see from far away that someone is going to drop something or if someone raises their hand. It's weird i wasn't always so flinchy or whatever. Is there a way to stop this?

Are you in a new area of your Life?
Maybe you're in a new school, or have started a new project or have a new goal that's important to you?
Sounds like you're more tense than usual (teenaged years can do that to a girl!) and have adopted a new "habit" of flinching.
Just try to relax your shoulders, breathe slowly & deeply, remind yourself that you are strong, beautiful, smart...
just relax!
You just need to relax more , take note when you hear loud noises so you will expect them.
Perhaps you are under stress. Are you getting enough sleep? Drinking enough water? Experience trauma. Please see a doctor.
This sounds familiar to what I do. I jump a lot. I can see someone coming but they can startle me anyway and I never used to do that.

I think it's something we just need to wait out. We'll grow out of it.
