Anybody else have sequential dreams, or is it just these pills I'm on?

Question:
Effexor

Answers:
Yes that can influence dreams, however, the fact that you do not indicate that this is normal for you is an indication that the pharm. is working. It is modulating your serotonin levels. they should be highest during rem sleep. which when coming out we have vivid dreams. If you have not required medication until now; determine if you experienced these types of dreams before. If not then I would tell my physician because if there is not a change back to what has been considered Normal for you is not happening then you probably need a dosage adjustment. This may be a good sign as we do not like to have to keep patients on SSRI's for long periods of time, and a change toward normalization needs to be caught ASAP and meds adjusted for your current needs. Also, ask yourself do I dream in color. If you do and you have not done so before then you need to inform your doctor of this fact. This is a good med. but like all meds it must be prescribed by a qualified physician. Do not look for answers on the web as only your Doctor has all the facts (unless you have not told him everything during visits) With these meds you must report any and all changes to your Doctor ASAP. Because if you are improving we do not want the body to quit the repair process.
Well, sometimes. I especially have strange dreams that freak me out sometimes. It depends if I am having a good day or bad. But, I don't really get sequential dreams that much.
depends what pills your on.
some pills can cause really weird dreams =talk to the Dr about it =good luck
I do all the time buddy. It's quite common really, so don't think you have some kind of "thing" going on.
I don't have sequential dreams. That's weird. It might be the pills you are on.Consult a doctor if you want to.
Here are the side effects of the meds you are on(Effexor XR)

Nausea
Dizziness
Sleepiness
Sweating
Dry mouth
Gas
Abnormal vision
Nervousness
Insomnia
Loss of appetite
Constipation
Confusion/agitation

I sometimes do, almost in week long periods, but they are sometimes from a movie that freaked you out or medications or drugs you are on. If your not on drugs and havent been "scared" by a movie then see your doctor!!
I always do! And Im not on any pills. I think its normal
Yeah I do, all the time.
And I'm not on anything.
I have them all the time your normal its okay if your really concerned go to the docter or read the label on the medicine...
Yeah, I do sometimes as well. When I was on Effexor it really affected my sleep-I dreamed a lot and woke up in the middle of the night often. I'm sensitive to meds though but I suggest that if it's really bothering you talk to your doctor.
