How can anorexia be controlled or curred?

Question:

Answers:
Taking things away, sneaking high calorie food into their diets. Once the person WANTS to get better they will. After they have gotten back to eating normally, they still will have the feelings that they are fat and ugly and what not. So technically they will never be cured but yes for sure it can be controlled.
Anorexia Nervosa is treatable.

"Cure", in the traditional sense of the word, may or may not be possible. Early and aggressive intervention are crucial determinents of potential treatment efficacy.

The majority of sufferers will experience multiple episodes of active disease throughout their lifetime. Extending periods of remission and minimizing severity of episodes may be a more reasonable goal than "cure".
Anorexia is a serious eating disorder. The person has to want to get better though. With treatment and a strong support system this can happen and is possible. There are underlying causes to disordered eating, especially Anorexia, or Bulimia. The causes need to be addressed in order for a person to fully heal, and get well.
