Im depressed?

Question:
i came back from a vacation 2 weeks ago, and ever since i came back, ive been lonely and depressed. i stayed with my aunt and cousins for 3 weeks. i never see them and i really got to know them. now, i stay at home all day. my mom works, my friends are all away/busy and i cant drive myself anywhere. ive been talking outloud to myself and having conversations aloud with noone. i cant listen to certain music or read certain books without being reminded of my aunt. i miss them and really want to go back, but i dont have any money for a flight, so i cant. ive been depressed for 2 weeks now, and im starting to go crazy. i email them every day, but my aunt/cousins dont answer every day because they have things to do. any suggestions as to what i should do? soon i might completely lose it, i feel, if i keep up with this depression

what should i do?

I say relax and find something else to keep you entertained...
Everyone is busy now these days.. I think you just need to talk to someone... Try using a journal or something when there is no one there for you to talk to.. Growing up for me was a bit like that too..
But yeah a journal is a really good thing...
It may just be passing. That is natural. If it is longer then two weeks, see a counseler. You may have clinical depression. For now try to have a short time to read or take a bath or something else and focus only on that and the pleasure you get from that. It helps.
You aren't depressed you just miss having people around. Its great that you got to know them, family is very important. You also need to learn that being alone is OK too. There has to be things for you to do close to you house so you don't have to drive. you don't mention your age but a lot of places need volunteers such as hospitals, day cares, animal shelters. You will have something to do and meet a lot of people. If your friends are all busy then maybe a quick call once in a while would still be ok. Talking to people more often will make you feel less alone. Im sorry you miss them but try to be more positive :)

I would never want to give anybody wrong or bad advise so I will give you some good advice. I don't know what state your in so you will have to check the front of your phone book(The yellow Pages) look for an 800 # for The United Way. If it's not listed call the local office # in your area tomorrow morning and ask for it. This is a very good Hot-Line. You can call 24/7 and speak to a live person about anything and everything. While your in the yellow pages check out any other Hot-Lines that may be of service to you. Religious? Talk to your priest, pastor, Rabi etc...

Look up new and interesting people on My-Space. Be smart and carefull when doing this.

I don't know if your into exercise but doing something as easy as taking a walk will release your endorphins and reduce depression. If your in your room/house all day try to get out into the sunlight even if you just sit on your front porch. I'm getting tired so I can't remember the vitamin that our body needs from bright light but I know it helps depression. If you refuse to go out and are sitting in a dark room all day this could be serious trouble. At least turn on a light!! Try and stay positive good things happen when we least expect them. Good Luck with the #800 Hot-Line numbers I'm sure you'll find the right one for you!
