see a psychologist/psychiatrist/doct... is a mental disorder and needs help...get it and you will find that other things can make you feel really good, not involving blood.
that sounds very serious. You're right in saying you think you need help. Talk to an adult you trust about it.
I think you need help too. If it is a new thing that is good, you may get help in time to keep you from scaring your body. It is a cry for help or attention or something that is missing. I'm not qualified to help ou but I do know of the problem. The sooner you seek help the better. Try your school counselor or your family Dr. or ask your parents to take you to a psychologist...lots of insurances will pay for a few visits. A lot pay very few though. I really think you may spend too much time alone, thinking negative thoughts and this helps you release the pent up feelings you have. Try getting out of the rut and doing things with people. Stay busy and try to not be alone where it is tempting. You have to be strong and talk to yourself and tell yourself you are worth more than this...pain is not good. I am in pain all the time from neck surgery on my spine. I deal with it daily. So, please get help and try to change your thoughts and actions that cause you to feel this way. I will be praying for you baby girl, it will help if you pray too, ask God to remove this unhealthy behavior from you ask every day, every time you have the thought and thank Him for doing it. It will work. Also writing it down, I will not do this negative thing to myself whenever you feel the urge...over and over. Then write a positive page like I am smart, funny and I am a good person. You can use a rubberband on your wrist, snap yourself anytime you feel negative urges and this can help too. good luck. Night Night. Miss Mary
You definitely need to talk to someone. Anyone, then talk to a professional. Cutting yourself is a mental disorder.
No one likes to see themselves bleed. Some may not like giving blood for a test or otherwise. Stop the bleeding. It's the right thing to do. Giving blood for blood work. Look away. Might not like needles. Might not like the blood coming out.
Humans have blood. When you cut them. They bleed. Fact of life. I wouldn't worry about it, UNLESS you faint at the sight of your own blood which would put your life in danger.
Am I afraid of blood. No. I have to prick my finger and draw blood up to 5x a day to survive. Am I afraid of needles. Nope. Up to seven injections a day. 6 are self administered.
When dad had chemotherapy, I did his. I was given a vial of saline and a syringe to practice loading the needle.
When mom needed daily injections, she didn't want to do them either. I did them for a while. Then I pre-loaded the syringes and she was able to do it. Eventually, I suggested a pen. She asked her doc and has been doing 4 a day without any problems.
If you can take care of a wound without fainting. Don't worry about it.
that is so strange. I am sure there is a name for it. what ever it is you need to get help because it is a dangerous sport or what ever you want to call it. you can get infections if you don't slip up and hit an artery.
it is a bad thing
don't dismiss it as mocking when people tell you you need help
they have no reason to lie.
cutting yourself till you bleed is very very bad. it needs immediate attention
