How do yo deal with depression?

To deal with depression and frustration in my life, I.
1) Pray
2) Read the Bible
3) Talk about my problems with friends and family
4) Work out
5) Write in my journal
6) Listen to music
7) Watch a comedy
one day at a time.
for serious cases they have medicne. but if its not the severe, try not to stress over little things. and get as much natural light as possible or you could try one of those happy lights. its supposed to help.
If you find yourself depressed, I would recommend doing something you really enjoy. For me, that would be listening to music or playing my guitar, and even watching tv for hours on end. Or, sometimes you could even try thinking about why you're depressed and trying to resolve it somehow, but I know it's not always easily pinpointed and fixed. And a last thing I like to do is talk it over with my close friend (or blog!), and just rant and vent whatever is on my mind. It helps if they can empathize with you, and give you feedback.
Hopefully you're not depressed. But if you are, hope you feel better.
seek medical attention if serious. if not, try finding the source of your depression (eg job, friends, boyfriend). it helps to know what is causing your depression and why. talking and listening to classical music helps. a counsiler or friend helps too. Its always nice to have someone sympathize and listen to you. Think of the happiest things, and dont tell yourself how horrible it is. reading helps me get away from depression for a while, but it's not the way you should avoid it. reading (however exciting) only avoids for a period of time, but you need to get rid of it completely.

1. Like the other person said, watch a comedy. In fact watch lots! NO DRAMA FOR YOU!!
2. Say you are the happiest person in the world.
3. Sit down on your bed. Think for a moment. Then turn on the TV. and watch some cartoons. It always works for me.
4. Watch more comedy. Let me reccomend some titles,

Well... I try to convert my attention to things that will make me happy.. A past time.. Hobbies that I like.. Sports..
I eat my favorite chocolate and I write what I feel in a piece of paper in front of the mirror..
But you know what is the most effective thing I do?
...I talk to Him through prayers.. It helps a lot..
if it's severe, i suggest you see a doctor. but most of the time they won't put you on meds but suggest you talk to a counsellor.
do something you enjoy doing, take long walks and enjoy the scenery, listen to music, write, etc. i have a friend who does math problems like there's no tomorrow when he's depressed so yeah you could try that too.
and when all the above fails, a good long cry will always make you feel better. =)
