Can't Sleep and seem aggitated??

Question:
I have been having problems sleeping at night for over 3 weeks now, and find myself aggitated at times during the day. I do suffer from mild depression and have been on meds for over 10 yrs. I am not sure if it is insommia, I guess the only thing to do is see my doctor. Has anyone ever tried mood stabilizers? I was going to ask my doctor about this. And what side effects have you experienced with them. I don't have bipolar that was ruled out.

Answers:
Do you normally go to bed after you take your medicine? It could be the medicine that's kicking in causing all the insommia problem.

It could also probably because you are using your brain too much that you have no time to rest it, so you end up with sleepless nights.

Try taking the medicines earlier and not over-used your brain for maybe an hour or two. Then only go to bed.

If it still doesn't work, then you'll really need consultation.
Kim? are you a female? lets take a virtual nap, it will be ok
Honestly, it sounds like you may have bipolar disorder. You seem to have the classic symptoms, I would get another opinion. I know it took several years before my doctor was able to diagnose me with bipolar disorder. I have found Abilify very effective and has very few side-effects.

If you have bipolar, then the antidepressants could be triggering a manic or hypomanic episode.

Best of luck to you.
